I am starting the 5:2 Fasting Diet today. In fact, to day is my first "fasting" day. It's not an actual obstain from everything fast, its a 500 calorie day fast. If you aren't familiar with the way it works I'll break it down "lay-man-style." Basically you eat "normal" aka semi-healthy 5 days a week, and "fast" aka eat/drink only 500 calories 2 days a week. You don't fast two days in a row. (Seriously, I know that the "rules" but there was no chance of that happening here anyway! I'll probably be watching for 12:01 a.m.)
So for me I'll be fasting Tuesdays & Thursdays and the rest will be normal days. I'm also trying to start the Couch to 5K program (again...because I fell off about week 3 last time). I'll be doing this on Mon, Wed & Fri.
So basically this sums up my week...
Monday: Hell
Tuesday: Hell
Wednesday: Hell
Thursday: Hell
Friday: Hell
Saturday: Oh Thank God!
Sunday: Praise Jesus, wait is tomorrow Monday?!
Wait, I mean,
Monday: Eat Healthy, Couch to 5K
Tuesday: Fast
Wednesday: Eat Healthy, Couch to 5K
Thursday: Fast
Friday: Eat Healthy, Couch to 5K
Saturday: Eat Healthy(ish), Take a break
Sunday: Eat Healthy(ish), Take a break
I'm totally excited about this new lifestyle! (That's a lie.) But I am excited about not looking like jello squeeze into saran wrap when I put my swimsuit on during the cruise next month. I just want to get down to my pre-baby weight...just kidding, that was 15 years and 54 lbs. ago. Now I'd just like to get down to my 9 months pregnancy weight. (That wasn't a joke.) God, why did I abuse my metabolism!?!
On a side note, it is 10:30 a.m. and all I have had is 3 cups of water (thank you calorie free mio) and a cup of 10 calorie coffee with truvia, and honestly I am not starving. Though I think it's because I had lasagna for dinner. Had a eaten just a salad I would be dying right now.
